The Ombudsman, Endrit Shabani, met with activists from the organizations "Center for Community Empowerment and Organization" and "Center for Social Advocacy".

The focus of this meeting was the simplification of the procedures of social housing programs in the country.

The Ombudsman will ask municipalities to directly conclude the rental contract with social landlords, for the rental bonus scheme.

This procedural change aims to eliminate several obstacles that currently leave out of the rental bonus scheme many families who should benefit from it.

The Ombudsman institution remains committed to finding concrete legal and institutional solutions that protect the dignity and social rights of citizens.
