The People's Advocate encourages the process initiated by the Council of Appointments to Justice for obtaining opinions on the candidacies for members of the Constitutional Court and the High Inspector of Justice.

Law No.115 / 2016 and the Law on the Constitutional Court, Article 7 / b paragraph 2, provides that public institutions that are related to the justice system, civil society organizations with activities in the protection of human or designed to protect the interests of users of the justice system, present their opinions about candidacies at the Council of Appointments.

The fact that this open process for the acceptance of the opinions of impartial parties is a legal obligation proves its importance to the People's Advocate finds it appropriate to emphasize the merit of Council in handling this process with the seriousness and commitment required.

On the other hand, the People's Advocate encourages and calls on all civil society organizations involved in the human rights field, as well as the media and the public, not to be reluctant to engage in such an important process of justice in our country to offer their contribution to convey information and information about the candidates.
