During his official visit to Pristina, the People’s Advocate of Albania, Mr. Endrit Shabani, was received on an official visit by the President of the Constitutional Court of Kosovo, Mr. Nexhmi Rexhepi.

At the center of this meeting was a discussion on the importance of constitutional control and the implementation of international standards of justice.

Mr. Shabani emphasized the essential role of the interaction between human rights and constitutional justice institutions, as the ultimate guarantee for the protection of the rule of law.

Mr. Shabani particularly praised the important role that the Constitutional Court has played in preserving the constitutional balance in Kosovo.

In his capacity as President of the Organization of Mediterranean People’s Advocates (AOM), Mr. Shabani stressed that “_The court’s decisions on the protection of the balance between powers have shown a high standard of independence, serving as a positive model for the entire region”_.
