The Ombudsman Institution Participates In An Open Day For Voluntary Blood Donation

As part of its mission to promote solidarity and social responsibility, the Ombudsman Institution today held a voluntary blood donation day, organized on its premises. This activity was carried out in collaboration with the National Blood Transfusion Center, with the aim of supporting this vital center for the country's health system.
The Ombudsman, Ms. Erinda Ballanca, personally joined the institution's staff in this humane act, donating blood and conveying the message that donating blood means giving someone a second chance at life.
“This is an act that comes from the heart and turns into endless gratitude for those who benefit from it. I hope that more and more citizens will become part of this humane gesture”, said Ms. Ballanca.
The Ombudsman's Institution appeals to every citizen to support the National Blood Transfusion Center through voluntary donation, because this is the only way to provide the necessary blood for patients in need.
