Mr. Dobjani,
Thank
you very much for your Director of International Relations'
letter informing us that the Assembly of the Republic of Albania
has recently re-elected you as the Ombudsman of the Republic of
Albania for a second five-year mandate.
In
this sense, I would like to send you my warmest congratulations
and wish you success in your work as you had during your
previous mandate.
Since
we had the opportunity to meet each other last October in
Belgrade on the occasion of the Conference held by the Stability
Pact and the Greek Ombudsman, you probably know that the
Parliament of Catalonia appointed me as the new Ombudsman of
Catalonia in June 2004 and that I took up my post on 1st July,
as a successor of Mr. Anton Canellas.
I
hope that our institutions will further cooperate and that we
will have the chance to meet and discuss the possibilities of
building common cooperation projects in the future.
