Dear Mr. Dobjani,

I have arrived back in Belfast after my trip to Tirana. I would like to thank you and your staff very much indeed for all the kindness I was shown during my stay. From the moment I was collected at the airport to the moment I was returned there, I was extremely well looked after.

I enjoyed the Workshop at the Hotel President as well as the dinner the previous night at the Diplomat and the lunch following the Workshop. You were an extremely generous host. I also very much enjoyed the opportunities I was given to see Tirana, Durres and Kruja. Ervin and Alket were extremely good guides.

I have left Albania with a very good impression of your Office and of the progressiveness of the country as whole. I shall be writing to the Office of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights and to the Chair of the International Co-ordinating Committee of National Human Rights Institutions to say how worthy of support I think your office is.

Thank you again for everything. I hope that I will meet you again on some occasion – perhaps in the UK or Ireland – and that in the meantime your work goes from strength to strength.
