Mr. Dobjani,
I
am writing to you to express my gratitude for the kind
invitation to visit your office in Tirana, which has resulted in
a fruitful and pleasant visit to friends.
We
had interesting discussions on important issues related to the
activities of our two ombudsman institutions for the protection
and promotion of human rights. We shared useful information on
good experience and bad administrative practices, which I
believe is of mutual benefit.
I
am glad for the interest shown to certain legal and political
aspects in the work of the Bulgarian Ombudsman, particularly in
its relations with the Parliament and the Constitutional Court,
as well as all the hierarchy of the executive power in Bulgaria.
I
would like to congratulate you on your success to develop and
promote the People's Advocate Institution to such a high level
so as to become an prestigious and respected structure in the
state and the society.
I
am impressed by my conversations with the President of the
Republic and other senior Albanian representatives, and I am
convinced that they undoubtedly make a significant contribution
to the Current rapid development of the Republic Albania as a
democratic, legal and economically progressing state.
Indeed
you have taken great care to make our stay in beautiful Tirana
not only useful but also pleasant and memorable. In this respect
I would like to note the contribution of Ms. Anila Shyti for the
good organization of the visit and her kind attention to us.
I
am confident that our meeting and the discussions held will
contribute to further development of friendship, cooperation and
solidarity between our ombudsman institutions.
